Our home is also a small farm, and each spring I am busy making maple syrup when the weather permits.
Since 1978 I have been playing guitar in the contradance band Mountain Laurel (www.mountainlaurelband.com), and for many years I was also the band's caller and dance teacher.
Previous occupations include: student of population biology, cowboy, carpenter, cabinetmaker, instrumentmaker.
I am a landscape painter in oil and pastel, and a signature member of the Connecticut Pastel Society. Please see my artwork site.
